[Final Year Project]
'Behind The Shot' -《煉》
‘Behind The Shot’ is a 2D hand-drawn animation that talks about my story as a water polo player.
By showing my daily routine, revealing my struggles during training and how I overcome them,
I hope to express one message –
No matter what, I’ll keep going...because that makes me feel alive.

In modern society, most people work hard to enhance their quality of life.
Yet, a small group of dreamers, barely making a living, keep “torturing” themselves and challenging their limits.
These people are called ‘amateur athletes’.
Most of us would rather rest or spend time with our loved ones to recharge ourselves after a long workday.
But for amateur athletes, training is their way of rejuvenating themselves.
What others see as a sacrifice of rest and social life, these humans see as self-challenge.
No matter how demanding the path is, their passion for the sport and determination keep them going.
As an amateur athlete, I often got asked about my reasons for persistence.
Therefore, I hope to provide my answers through this project.
